This is great, now I feel my natural inclinations on how to treat clay is more attuned to the creative part of me. Posting both throwing and trimming was real helpful. Let me go make about 25 of these......

John, I know you got it that I was making a (bad) joke there. The Japanese find beauty in serendipity, what happens that we have no control over, such as the effects from the forces of nature. My comment was not meant seriously.

That was a good joke! People get it...and if they don't they need to get a sense of humor. I think that people know that the Japanese culture is a bit more complex than selling broke stuff!
