Sign up for Clay Olympics events!
The Clay Olympics will take place from 6-8 pm next Wednesday, May 9th at The Village Potters! The event list is below and sign-ups are first come, first served. As soon as there are six in any heat, it’s full. If you want to sign up in advance, email Lori Theriault (email@example.com) and let her know. If there are any slots still available on the 9th, people can sign up on site.

Wheel Heats - 6 spots available:
Blindfolded throwing: best 'finished' bowl in 5 minutes (1.5 lbs)
Team Throwing: best 'finished' bowl (2 lbs - 5 minutes.)
Fastest Finished Bowl (2 lbs - 5 minutes or less - or another format if you think it's better)
Most finished bowls in 10 minutes (1 lb. balls)
Handbuilding - 6 spots available:
Longest unbroken coil (1/2 lb - 5 minutes)
Best coil-made bowl (1/2 lb - 10 minutes - includes making coil then making bowl)
Clay Club meets at artist studios and other locations throughout Western North Carolina, usually on the second Wednesday of the month. All potters and ceramic artists are welcome!
