Bank Art Building artist studios in downtown Spruce Pine

The Mitchell News-Journal has a front page story about the Bank Art Building (formerly the Bank of America building) in downtown Spruce Pine. From the story:

The Bank Art building has artist studio spaces available for $200 per month.

Kent Dauderman of WNC Rentals, who is fielding inquiries for the available spaces, said three of the eight spaces had been rented.

Each space is about 200 square feet, and some of the spaces have outside windows.

There is a common area Dauderman said may one day be made into a shared artist gallery area.
