Spruce Pine Potters Market online this weekend

The annual Spruce Pine Potters Market will take place exclusively online at SprucePinePottersMarket.com starting on Saturday, October 10 at 10 a.m.

The annual event now in virtual format, will feature more than 23 potters from Mitchell, Yancey and Avery counties, as well as specially invited guest potters.

Pottery enthusiasts will be able to find work from their favorite North Carolina High Country clay artists and minus the crowds, will have the ability to find new work they may have missed before.

This year’s participating artists include Will Baker, Pam Brewer, Cynthia Bringle, Naomi Dalglish, Susan Feagin, Terry Gess, Michael Hunt, Lisa and Nick Joerling, Michael Kline, Suze Lindsay, Shaunna Lyons, Courtney Martin, Kent McLaughlin, Teresa Pietsch, David Ross, Michael and Ruth Rutkowsky, Ken and Galen Sedberry, Jenny Lou Sherburne, Gay Smith and Joy Tanner and specially invited guests.

The Spruce Pine Potters Market encourages visitors to join them in their annual support of two local nonprofits with the purchase of raffle tickets which are available online now. Work from Lindsay, Lisa Joerling, Shane Mickey and Tanner will be raffled with all proceeds distributed in support of current food shortages to Shepherd’s Staff and Neighbors Feeding Neighbors.
