Emerging Clay Artist Looking for work and Housing in Asheville
My name is Jasper Eyrich-Bingham. I am an emerging clay artist who will be moving to Asheville as a member of The Village Potters as part of their Advanced Studies and apprenticeship program. As I make a big transition from my humble town in Silver City I will be in need of any work or housing close to the river arts district and and reaching out to see if any NC clay club member will have any available apprenticeships or need for work assistants this upcoming February or perhaps will have a spare room to rent, even if temporarily, when I arrive. I have experience in tile manufacturing and wheel thrown ceramics, no production pottery experience per se but I am hungry to learn if it's what it takes. I also have several years experience as a gallery assistant and am versatile with a wide variety of wood and metal working tools and skill sets including welding.
