Thanks for posting this John. I always looked up to his style as an undergrad painting student. What I didn' t know until just recently was that he really stuck to his guns stylistically speaking. He knew what he was doing and stuck with it no matter what some of the critics said.

It's one thing to to be a great artist, but there is a lot that can be said for an artist who stays with something because they can truly master it.

And he had LOTS of work to back it up!
