I can't make it to Clay Club tonight, but wanted to share these tools I saw at an exhibit at the Freer Sackler a few months ago. The label read, "Potter's tools, Northern Vietnam, Nghe An province, 2004, Bamboo." How would folks use them?

Looks like an Umekaki. The Vietnamese use them to trim the bottoms of flat plates.

From here they look like handles, but that can't be right, things would be floppin' all over the place. Have fun with them though!
