Toe River Arts Council's First Arts Market in Spruce Pine May 2 and 3

Information from TRAC:

On Saturday, May 3, the Toe River Arts Council is hosting its first indoor Arts Market at the Spruce Pine Gallery (269 Oak Avenue). Meander around the tables set up in the gallery, visit with and purchase directly from the artists in a fun, informal atmosphere for the artists and the community. Clay, glass, fiber, jewelry, wood, metal. A little bit of a lot of art in a lot of mediums.

Hours are 9am to 6pm on Saturday, May 3. Come share the magic of art in the mountains in this festive first art show of the season. And on the day before, Friday, May 2, doors will stay open at the gallery from 5 to 7pm to offer a sneak peek opportunity to view and purchase work during a wine and cheese reception. If you’re looking for something for mom, that June bride or just want to see creativity at work, you’ll find it at the Arts Market. Come out and support your community by supporting the artists who call it home.

Artists will be both upstairs and down:

Downstairs: Linda Marco, Dotty Morgan, Nancy Leggett, Gay Smith, Rick and Val Beck, Robbie Bell, Armin Wessel, Valerie Schnaufer, Edd knight, Judy Meek, JJ Brown and Simona Rosasco, Chad Alice Hagen, and Jane Voorhees

Upstairs: Johnny Lara, William and Katherine Bernstein, Loretta Forde and David Wilson, Garold Amsberry, Ira DeKoven, Mary Wise Heart, Carol Arthurs, Amy Waller, David Trophia, and Gary Beecham
