April Clay Club: pottery book swap at Lynda Gayle Banner's studio

April Clay Club will be this coming Wednesday, April 8, at 6 pm at Lynda Gayle Banner's Little Blackberry Creek Pottery in Yancey County.

We are going to have a book swap, so bring one or more new or used pottery/ceramics related books and/or magazines that you would like to pass on to another ceramic artist. In return you'll get to take home something new to you.

Also, Kari Weaver is selling studio equipment - chemicals, slab roller etc. - and people are welcome to shop during Clay Club.

We'll have the usual potluck, so bring food to share. As always, Clay Club is BYOB, so bring drink, too.

Directions:

Little Blackberry Creek Pottery is at 25 Blue Bonnet Drive south of Micaville.

From OOAK gallery in Micaville:

* Go 80 South
* Turn right on Hickory Springs Road
* Pass the Convenience Center and Hickory Springs factory
* Turn Left on Blue Bonnet and cross the bridge. You'll see the Mushroom Factory right away.
* Drive just past the Mushroom Factory and park in the back
