One of the most productive and talented 'up and coming' ceramic icons is here at the gallery this month.  

Didem Mert has been showing her work in over 40 exhibitions nationally, been featured in Ceramics Monthly, Pottery Making Illustrated, and CFile (so maybe 'up and coming' isn't the right description?). Didem's thrown, handbuilt, and pinched forms are both fun and elegant, adding terra sigillata, underglazes, lustres, etc. to create that colorful functional surface.  Beautiful, Wonky, and so very cool - Get it while you can!
