Hands-on with art: Penland Community Open House on the front page

The Penland Community Open House made the front page of the Mitchell News-Journal, including a photo of David Westmeier and a quote from Susan Feagin:

Penland’s clay studio coordinator Susan Feagin said the open house is all about allowing the visitors to have fun making their creations. Feagin worked her 11th Community Open House this past weekend.

“It’s really great to see the community come together as a group in support of the arts,” Feagin said. “It’s so exciting to provide a safe space for it to happen.”
