GoFundMe fundraiser for John Britt

If you haven't heard, John Britt (former Clay Club president, glaze guru, and all around generous and super nice guy who I know has helped A LOT of Clay Clubbers over the years) had a bike accident that has left him with several serious injuries. Here are some details from the GoFundMe fundraiser that Liz Zlot Summerfield started:

On Sunday May 19th, John suffered a flucky, single person bike accident along the Virginia Creeper Trail. It has left him with multiple injuries and immobilized at home for at least 8-12 weeks. He later transitions to outpatient rehab for an indefinite period of time.

These type of injuries require long periods of rest and patience, but hopefully, he will make a full recovery.

I have received permission from John and his wife, Cheryl, to start a fundraising campaign to assist them while John recovers from his injuries. It is so early in the process that they don't even know the extent of the expenses. John is a giver at heart and very humble; he was initially reluctant to the idea of a fundraiser, but he knows many people want to help in some small way so this will provide a way to do that. They really appreciate the outpouring of advice and support from everyone far and wide.
