Dear Wonderful Friends,
We are so excited to share that next week we’ll be moving into our new studio home at Westgate and so many of you have been waiting to hear we are finally moving in. It’s now time.
It’s a big job but we know with many hands and some strong backs we can probably get everything in our new location in just a few days.
We would love your help to make it happen!
Here’s what we need:
Wednesday & Thursday, September 10 & 11 from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
We’ll have two moving teams and two 26 foot trucks. One team will load equipment and shelving at the Apple Barn in Waynesville, and the other will unload at Westgate in Asheville. We especially need volunteers who are physically able to lift and move heavier items on these first 2 days and can commit for the full 8 hour day.Friday, Saturday & Sunday, September 12–14 from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
It’s all hands on deck at Westgate! We’ll be setting up equipment, assembling and organizing shelves, cleaning, and possibly painting some pedestals. There will be plenty of jobs for all skill levels and abilities, so everyone can pitch in and be part of bringing our new studio to life. We have set things up so you can sign up for a four-shifts either 9:00 am - 1:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 5:00pmon any day.
What to bring:
- Closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
- Work Gloves
- Sarah’s sister Mary will provide sandwich fixings/pizza and water at the barn and Sarah will provide at TVP2.0
- If you have food restrictions and need specific drinks or fluids, please bring them along.
