October Event with The Village Potters: 10/9 6-8 PM at the Haywood Park Hotel

Dear Friends,

It is with immense gratitude and joy that we at The Village Potters Clay Center invite you to join us for two very special milestone gatherings in early Oct.

We would be so honored if you join us in celebrating our remarkable journey back from the total devastation of the flood at these upcoming milestone events:

The Shape of Resilience: An Evening of Hope and Celebration Thursday
October 9, 2025 | 6:00–8:00 PM
The Haywood Park Hotel Atrium
Downtown Asheville NC

A heartfelt evening of reflection, gratitude, poetry, music, and stories of hope. Together, we will honor all who carried us through the most challenging year of our history. We have now transitioned to a non-profit status as part of our recovery and our future sustainability.

The Shape of Resilience evening includes:

Exquisite pottery- Survivor Pots, Vessels of Distinction, Mugs for Our Mission (over 100 mugs by amazing potters who are friends of The Village), and Memorial Pots made by former guild member Bob Brotherton.
All these pieces will be available for donations to our newly established Foundation.

The Tom Fischer Jazz Trio from Asheville NC

Light Hors D”oeuvres- Prepared by Gypsy Queen, New Stock Pantry and Sugar and Snow-all three businesses are also recovering from the flood

We hope to see you there.
Sarah
