EMPTY BOWLS
Yo,
Spent some time at John Hartom's making bowls for his annual sales.
If anyone wants to help make bowls to raise money for the hungry he is opening up the studio Wednesday July 1, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
But if you don't have time and just want to donate either cone 10 bisque bowls or finished bowls, let him know.

It is very important, especially now, with so many people out of work. Unemployment in NC runs from about 15%-23% . It is terrible not to have a job and not to have enough money for your kids' food. About 1 in 6 kids in Mitchell go hungry. Unacceptable.
I know it is hard making pottery for a living, expecially now. And most potters know what it is like to be short on money! We may not be able to save the world , but we can certainly donate a bowl or two to help the hungry!!
