August 8th 2012 Clay Club

Yo kids,

We got an action packed week next week.  Slight change of plans because Michael Sherril can't make it but......

Lori Theriault and the Village Potters will still host the Clay Club on Wednesday August 8th from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

They will have a series of short demos from various River District Potters.  It is a pot luck. We would still love for folks to bring donations for Empty Bowls - soup size for the general lunch, and/or larger pieces for the Collector's Corner sales.

They are in Asheville at :

The Village Potters is located at Riverview Station in Asheville’s River Arts District at:
191 Lyman Street, #180
Asheville, NC 28801

thevillagepotters@gmail.com

Our hours are:
Monday – Saturday, 10am-6pm
Sunday (through 12/31/12): 1pm-5pm

I will get back on the line up. We hope we can video the demos for those who can't make it.

We will be setting up the TRAC show that day and will have our opening Saturday 5 - 7 p.m.

Should be a good week!

Could you mention at the meeting that Natchez Clay in Natchez, MS is looking for a resident artist for a 2 year commitment? They can contact me at natchezclay@gmail.com and can find more info at www.natchezclay.com. Hello to all our NC potter friends! Thanks. Donna Jones
