March Clay Club: social media with Michael Kline at John Ferlazzo's



March Clay Club will be at 6 pm on Wednesday, March 11, at John Ferlazzo's near Bakersville. Michael Kline will lead a demo and discussion on social media. If you somehow don't know (do you live under a rock?!), Michael is a master of social media, including participating in a panel on social media at NCECA in 2014. Check out Michael's website where you'll find his Sawdust & Dirt blog and and links to his Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+ and Pinterest accounts - and photos of his beautiful pottery, too:

John is going to provide a spiral-cut ham and we will have the usual potluck to go with that, so bring food to share. Clay Club is BYOB, so bring drink, too. John has a kitchen in the space where we'll be meeting, so if you want to bring something that needs to be heated, that's doable.

John also says he'll have what he is calling a "campfire+."

Directions:

John is at 110 Gage Branch Road, near Bakersville.

Coming from Spruce Pine, drive north on NC 226 (toward Bakersville) for approximately 6.5 miles. Turn left onto Mine Creek Road/NC 226A. Go 2.8 miles and turn left onto Gage Branch Road. John's is the first driveway on the right. Follow the driveway up to the top.
