Rice Hull Ash

Bucket RHA Rice Husk Ash Greasweep

Bob Gonzales has informed me that he gets his rice hull ash for glazes from :

http://www.greasweep.com/

You can get various sizes on this site from Oregon but Amazon also sells it:

I have never used it as I still have a bunch left from McKenzie Smith but it is the black stuff.

I've always heard it's supposed to give great results.

I think the new stuff has oil in it; but check that out. The old stuff was very cheap and was just gritty rice hull ash. I'd love to know if someone is now selling straight rice hull ash without the oil added.

PS: I checked their home page and they say it's pure rice hull ash. Guess inflation hits again. It's five times more than it was around the early 90's. Great that it's available again.
