What is this world coming to?

Highwater no longer has Saturday hours? And today they are completely out of Zella Stone and not expecting to have it back in stock until week's end? I'm nearly out. Does this mean I have to start slaking down some of the Ellen Buff I got from Henry Pope? That was going to be my winter project.

Last time I was there to buy some Moon White(about 4-6 weeks ago), they were out and I got the same story about them making it the following week after they finished making up some custom orders. They said they've been getting a lot of large, custom clay orders, which begs the question - why don't they buy another mixer? Used, commercial ones are readily available and usually at very good prices.

Hey, while we're bitching about Highwater, they shipped a thermocouple and sleeve last week to me and charged me 16 bucks! WTF! I would've driven there if I knew how much they would charge me. Lesson: Have them spell out your total before you hang up the phone next time you order.

FYI: Just yesterday I was told that Zella Stone would be out for another TWO weeks. I'm gonna have to do something soon because I have only one bag of clay left. Sheesh.

Jay just stopped at Highwater and they have Zella Stone! I was starting to feel all panicky like when there was a gasoline shortage or we ran out of beer (pre-Spruce Pine vote).

Kyle, going in on an order would be great but I only buy 100 # at a time. I work slow and the clay gets too hard if it sits around too long.
