Throw plates to a pointer to ensure consistent height and diameter. This promotes proper stacking in your kitchen cabinet. A pointer tool can be as simple as sticking a chop stick through a lump of clay, or a bad-ass fully adjustable pointer can be made with scrap wood, a drill, dowel and a few bolts with wing nuts. I'm taking orders, $40 each ;)
