Dig-In Empty Bowls Still Needs Your Bowls

We still need your bowls!

A huge thank you to all of the artists who have donated bowls to our empty bowls event! We can not express the appreciation we feel that so many in the art community have come together to support the efforts of Dig-In as they work towards alleviating food insecurities in our neighborhoods. Our event is October 4th but we still need more bowls to make this event a success. If you would like to still donate please drop your donations off any time during normal business hours at either One Of A Kind Art Gallery or the Yancey County Library.

Empty Bowls is not just about Pottery!

Who ever said empty bowls have to be clay? We have had some donations in the past of fiber and wood and let's keep the diversity rolling - reach out to your glass neighbors, metal neighbors, any artist can participate.

Thank you all! I am proud to be part of such a wonderful community of artists and givers. Please pass on this message to all your crafty and artist friends and spread the word!
