September Clay Club at Mars Hill University
September Clay Club will be at the Mars Hill Center for the Ceramic Arts at Mars Hill University next Wednesday, September 11th from 5-7pm (note the change from our usual meeting time). Thanks to Shane Mickey for hosting us!
Shane will do a handle demo and lead a discussion of favorite tips and tricks. Bring your best tip or trick to discuss and share!
We’ll have our usual potluck, so bring food to share. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed, so please bring drink to share, just nothing alcoholic.
Once you get to the campus, the Mars Hill Center for the Ceramic Arts is located at 79 Cascade Street in Mars Hill. Coming from Highway 19-23 (Future Interstate 26), turn left at Wells Fargo Bank. The studio is down the driveway to the right. For help with directions, email Shane at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Carpooling: if you’re interested in carpooling, let me know and I will put folks in touch. You can also leave a comment here on this blog post or on this facebook post.
Clay Club meets at artist studios and other locations throughout Western North Carolina, usually on the second Wednesday of the month. All potters and ceramic artists are welcome! Look for details about the meetings here on the blog or contact Amy Waller at email@example.com for more info.
