Just love moss - I have made large shallow ceramic platters and planted them with some moss http://www.flickr.com/photos/18590247@N03/sets/72157634798735868/ - it's great to have on a small raised pedestal in the garden or on a patio table - patting it gives you the same feeling of relaxation as petting a dog - seriously. There is a great book called moss gardening by George Schenk.
