Yo Clubbers,

It is that wonderful time of the year again! Not Christmas...Clay Club!!

It is at Penland this month and Susan says:

Wednesday, February 10, in the upper clay studio, start at 6 PM so if there’s any snow people won’t get stranded. I’ll have stoneware and pizza. People can bring soda, dessert, salad or whatever else they’d like. If people want to bring alcohol, they can’t drink it in the studio because that is the official Penland alcohol policy. So we beer lovers will have to stand out in the parking lot and then run back inside.

There will be some leather-hard mugs for people to attach handles to if they want. People can also decorate some already made mugs with slip or stamps or whatever. And of course people are welcome to hang out and entertain the rest of us. People should bring their own throwing tools or brushes because I don’t think I have enough lost-and-found tools to go around. It will be fabulous!! I’ve already warned the people renting the studio. They are excited, but I don’t think they really know what they are getting into!
