2009 Pine Root Pottery Wood Firing Workshop
Join us for the 5th annual Pine Root Pottery wood-firing workshop. This year's workshop is scheduled for June 14 - 20, 2009.
Participants will bring bisque pots that we’ll glaze, load and fire here at Pine Root. During cool down, I’ll demonstrate some throwing and altering techniques or we'll go on a tour of some local potteries. Last year’s workshop was a huge success. We had a lot of fun and everyone took some great pots home.
The cost for the workshop is $550 and it's limited to 6 people. Sunday night dinner is included. Just bring about 30-40 pots (about 10 cubic feet worth). I’ll supply the glaze, wadding, wood and everything else. If you need a place to stay, there are several nearby options ranging from cabin rentals and B&B’s to campgrounds. See my links page for local accommodations.
