Korean Kiln






Here is a photo of the kiln I was talking about at the Clay Club. That front black spot is where they put in the wood and then don't close it off, so during the firing flames are coming out. It also shows the more roman type arches vs. our catenary type.

Thanks for these John! I wonder how hot they fire in these chambers.

I'll give you a call Monday about coming over to pick up the bowl I left at Clay Club that you were kind enough to take.

Maybe I can batch and dip another cone 6 test or two to bring over.
