Coning and Centering - John Britt -2011
Art history buffs?
I'm looking for some links or artist names or articles or art history books or chapters that have anything to do with incorporating pop art, icons, or decals into/onto clay. Or even mimicking this look. Anyone out there got any info?
Mucho thanks,
Katey
(And hello to NC from Oregon. It's a long ways away! Hope everyone is doing well.)

Thrown, cut and assembled baskets, - Kari Hopkins-2011
Walker Pugmill for sale
I bought this from David Nelson (anyone remember him and his great pots?) 15 or so years ago and have used it for reclaiming and reconstituting porcelain, then moving onto stoneware. This machine is a workhorse and could be used for mixing as well as reclaiming. It does not produce wedge-free clay. My mixing days are over!
It must be partially dismantled to move; location-Henderson County. I will deliver and set up for a reasonable fee.

Clay Club January 12, 2011
I am trying to think of a topic for January Clay Club?? I did like seeing the demos last time, and the short videos were a hit! They are on You Tube and I posted them on the blog.
http://www.youtube.com/my_videos?feature=mhum
So I thought we could do that again?!? ... Have it at my studio (unless someone else wants to do it at theirs?) and have some demos...what do you think?.
Anyone want to demo something to be taped and posted on You Tube? I probably need about 5 - 7 people again.
Of course, I could demo how to recycle clay or how to clean a studio....
Let me know,
John Britt
