Friends and Neighbors

My new shop had a few helping hands(and backs) today! We had a blast, nobody got hurt, and I was reminded of the friendship and community of my fellow potters. David Ross stuck it out till the 5 o'clock whistle blew and we also had help from John Ferlazzo, Mark Peters, and honorary Penland potter, Tommy Frank. Luckily all hands were busy and no one had a camera to document this historic day. We installed a plywood ceiling in the outdoor work space that I will soon be making pots until the rest of the shop is finished. Thanks guys, for helping out. Many hands make light work.
