February Clay Club: Empty Bowl make-a-thon at Penland
This month, instead of our usual Wednesday meeting time,
we will be joining the empty bowl make-a-thon
for 2 Saturdays in the Clay Studio at Penland School of Craft!
Come out for one or both!
This annual event occurs to help support the local food banks
in Mitchell and Yancey County.
Wheels are available for experienced throwers,
Hand builders are welcome too!
The goal is to make as many bowls as possible.
Help us spread the word. Bring a potter friend!
What to bring:
- Your favorite clay tools & apron (clay will be provided)
- Potluck - food to share

Feb 10th:
10-12:30 Wheel Throwing
12:30-1:30 Lunch
1:30-4 Trim

10-4 Glaze
Find your way to the Penland Clay Studio:
There will be yard signs with colorful flags
once you get to the main campus.
