The clay studio of the Creative Arts Building/Sycamore 7000
Topic: Emily will demonstrate Val Cushing’s method for exploring a range of colors from a single base glaze. Attendees will also be able to explore the Professional Crafts Facilities at HCC.
Food: Potluck - bring a dish, dip, chips, dessert or drinks to share. (No alcohol allowed for this location)
Parking: Freedlander Dr. brings you on campus through the main entrance. Stay straight and drive past the first big building on your left (Hemlock, 1500) to park in the lot just behind the building, 3rd left. In the upper section of the lot you will see signs for “Cosmetology Customer parking.” Park anywhere near those designated spots and take the stairs toward the main road (Freedlander). Crossing the road you will see the Chestnut (Cosmetology) building and the kiln patio to the left of it (you’ll see brick chimneys). Come in through the door on the kiln patio.
