Help with cracking

Question for all you fabulous, much more experienced potters?

I love to make pieces from stoneware and then cover in porcelain
slip and make a design in wax resist and wipe away.

Does anyone know any fix-it for these little cracks that come out AFTER the bisque fire?

Does anyone know  a good way to prevent them in the first place?

I am using pheonix stoneware.

Thank you, fabulous potters.

Nora, is the slip deflocculated?

I don't know why but I can't see the images. I use mason stained slips quite a bit. I use four different clay bodies and frost porcelain slip. I have had no cracking, but I mix my slip very thick. I also put my slip on when the clay body is soft.

The porcelain slip is lightly deflocc'd. It is the stoneware that is cracking. The picture file was too big, that's why it isn't visible.
