ARTsCentered exhibit at the Spruce Pine Toe River Arts Council gallery

Annie Thayer shared this information about the ARTsCentered exhibit at the Toe River Arts Council (TRAC) gallery in Spruce Pine, including an invitation to former and current ARTsCentered guest instructors and students to participate (note the application deadline is Monday, January 9th):

For the 1st TRAC exhibition of 2017, We hope to show that artists support the process of developing artistic expression.

We are a community with both professionals and immerging artists who encourage and network to help one another be successful. In light of that foundational principal of a strong Arts community...
All former and current guest instructors and students of ARTs CENTERed Studio, are invited to exhibit their art work, in either the professional category or the non professional category. (Number of items subject to space available.)
Art works may be something other than clay. (Baskets, jewelery, paintings, textile, metal, wood, etc. welcome)

Application forms, and $20.00 entry fee are due Monday Jan. 9th.
The show opens Jan. 13 and there is a reception at 5:00 PM that evening. The reception is open to the community and I hope Clay Club members will attend.

Potters may donate bowls for Empty Bowls to be available at the reception for purchase.

TRAC gets 40% of retail price of Art exhibit sales. Mark items "NFS" if Not for Sale.
Awards will be given in each category.
1st prize= $100.00
2nd prize= $75.00
Etc.
