Multi-Kiln Opening Extravaganza at The Village Potters! 10/14/17

You are invited to join Village Potters to their studios and gallery for this special event on Saturday, October 14 from 12:00 - 5:00pm at their studios in Asheville, NC. There will be kiln openings, pots being sold directly from those kilns, Raku firings, and more. All of the proceeds from the event's sales will directly benefit The Village Potters' Scholarship Fund and build-out of Incubator Studios.

The Village Potters' Scholarship Fund raises money to offer financial aid/scholarships to a select handful of ceramic arts students who are in unique situations where they are able to pursue their dreams in clay, but would not be able to without financial assistance. The Village Potters offers 4 full one-year scholarships and 4 half one-year scholarships to their two-year Independent Study & Mentoring program.

The Village Potters are in the midst of building six 10'x10' Incubator Studios for potters that are on the brink of owning successful businesses in clay, but do not have access to studio space or are not equipped for a home studio.
