New work and artists at Mica Gallery for the Bakersville Galleries Art Walk on May 24th
Join Mica Gallery for the Bakersville Galleries Art Walk on Friday, May 24, 2019 from 4 - 7 pm
It’s a new season with new work and new artists.
See Claudia Dunaway’s wonderful transformation from clay to woodblock prints. Her richly carved and patterned pottery made the leap from pots to woodblock prints a natural transition. Mica members are also excited by artist Carmen Grier painting on canvas, using handmade oil sticks, and oil with cold wax. And Carmen’s gorgeous scarves are a don’t miss.
Mica continues to show work by our special guest, environmental artist, Bryant Holsenbeck. The Durham, NC artist presents a glimpse into the results of her wide- ranging pursuit of environmental activism through art.
So, join us for fun, friendship, refreshments and wonderful conversations with local artists.
