Flowers and Clay
A Farm Tour and Open House
July 20-21, 2019 at 216 Ledford & Craine Road, Marshall, NC

From the Flowers and Clay website:

Spend the Day with Us — Or the Weekend

Come be part of our extended family as we open our business homes to the public for the first time ever. Flowers and Clay is an annual collaboration between Josh Copus Pottery and Carolina Flowers — also known as Josh and Emily Copus.

Walk inside a 27-foot pottery kiln and pick a dahlia from the garden. See how wild clay is made and tour the production farm where we grow tens of thousands of flowers each year. Dine with us on Saturday night — we’ll have pizza from our woodfire oven with herbs from the farm and garden.

Plan to stay awhile. We’ll have games and activities. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy our mountain cove, or make a day trip to one of the nearby hikes or swimming spots. Explore downtown Marshall while you’re in the neighborhood, and be sure to walk past the Old Marshall Jail — our other creative business endeavor.

There is no cost to attend this event. Flowers and pottery will be for sale on site.

Check back for additional details, schedules and collaboration announcements.

AN IMPORTANT NOTE: Farm tours will take place at specific times only. The farm is short drive or walk from the pottery kiln complex, where the main event will be held. There are extensive gardens for you to enjoy at the kiln complex, but the bulk of our production happens at other sites.
