Summer is here, and the artists of Mica, a cooperative gallery of fine contemporary craft in downtown Bakersville, NC, are ready to greet you.

Come to the Bakersville Art Walk on Friday July 5th, from 4 to 7 p.m. when the galleries and shops in downtown Bakersville open their doors to showcase more than 100 artists.

Come see new work by our 13 member artists as well as our consignment artists.

Mica’s new special visiting artists, Shaker and Salt, the collaborative team of glass artists Courtney Dodd and Nick Fruin, present “For Dinner”, their line of modern, stylistically elegant hand-crafted glassware for the table. Extensively trained, Dodd and Fruin have had varied residencies, workshops, and teaching experiences in the United States, Australia, Denmark, and Japan. “Our wares are meant to be used”, the couple explain, “enjoyed, laughed over...”
