Community Clay Studio Memberships and Classes in Burnsville

High Country Ceramic Arts is a community studio located in Burnsville. We offer studio memberships for $260/ a quarter (3 months). A trial one month membership is available for $100. For those newer to clay, we also offer a Beginner's Package special for $180— this includes 1 month of membership as well as three 2-hour lessons on wheel-throwing, hand-building, and/or glazing.

Membership includes:
24/7 access to the studio
Free cone 6 kiln firings
Access to community tools, molds, slips, glazes, etc
Access to our slab roller, extruder, and 8 pottery wheels
Ability to show and sell work in our member gallery
A supportive and fun clay community!

Clay is the only additional cost and is available on-site for purchase at $15 per 25 lb bag.


The studio also offers classes in wheel-throwing and hand-building.

Our next class is Beginning and Intermediate Wheel Throwing with Garold Amsberry:

Meets Tuesdays 1-4pm
8 weeks from January 14 - March 3
$180 + clay (15$ for 25 pounds)

The class is open to absolute beginners as well as intermediate wheel throwers wanting to improve their technique and work towards throwing 5+ pounds of clay.
