Our 2023 Summer Workshop Series Is Live TODAY!

Double Island Studio is pleased to announce the launching of our 3rd Summer Workshop Series. We’d like to introduce ourselves to those of you new to Double Island Studio.

Double Island Studio is owned and operated by artists Liz Zlot Summerfield and Scott Summerfield. We reside in Bakersville, North Carolina with our talented daughter, Roby Summerfield. We each share a passion for our craft which consists of ceramics, glass, and printmaking.

We started with a small grassroots dream of having a teaching space for ourselves, and quickly realized that we wanted to share the space with other talented instructors and students to provide high quality workshops.
