Printed Imagery on Clay with Susan Feagin: September 9th

 

Are you interested in a fun and low tech approach to decorating clay surfaces? This workshop is perfect for people who like to draw, make collages, or do screen printing.

In this workshop, students will learn the ins-and-outs of creating screen printed transfers to embellish their clay surfaces. Students will learn the process of working with EZScreens, create stencils, and make a silk screen for printing. Students will have the opportunity to draw their own motifs with underglaze to transfer to the clay surface.

Prior to the workshop, students will email Susan up to 3 JPEG’s of black-and-white images or drawings that will be made into mini EZScreens. Susan will print them on a transparency to prepare for the workshop. To learn more about the EZSreens process visit www.ezscreenprint.com.
