Events this Saturday!

 Just wanted to give you a heads-up and let everyone know that there are some events happening this Saturday in downtown Bakersville.  

1).   Firstly, from 2:00 - 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 18th at Mica Gallery master printer Perry Obee (from Black Mountain) will be describing the lithographic process AND how he works with artists to produce limited edition, professional fine-art prints.  Totally free.  And I have no doubt that it'll get your creative thoughts and juices flowing.

2).  Secondly, from 3:00 - 6:00 pm (right after Perry's presentation...) In Tandem Gallery will be having an opening with Lindsay Rogers of her newest ceramic work - which is amazing - and she'll be here to field whatever questions you might have as well as just getting to know her a bit better if you don't already.  She's currently an Associate Professor at ETSU and has a long history in this area (artist in residence at the Energy Exchange in Burnsville; studio ceramicist in Asheville; ceramics instructor at Odyssey...).  So come on by for that as well.   Plus, Silvia will have finger foods and drinks for ya.
