The Center for Craft Creativity and Design OPENING in Asheville NC

"Friday marks an exciting new chapter in the Center for Craft, Creativity and Design. This almost two-decades-old institution will celebrate its new location in downtown Asheville — 67 Broadway — with a compelling collection of contemporary craft.

The center is a nonprofit organization that has brokered millions of dollars in grants to prominent and aspiring craft artists, scholars and institution. It has operated out of a humble locations tucked in the woods in Hendersonville, and the new highly visible and dramatic building will no doubt change the direction and prestige of the organization."
