Clay club August 2014 Review

Had a great time at Clay Club last night.  Lots of folks came out from all over, Asheville, Black mountain, Old Fort, Bakersville, Spruce Pine, etc.

It was good to see everyone and catch up on things.

And nice to share glaze information!

John Hartom told how well the Dig in Garden is going, He is looking for Collector's Bowls for the upcoming events. These are higher priced pieces which will provide 3 meals per Dollar raised. So if you donate a $100 bowl that equates to 300 meals for hungry people!!  Contact him at imagineren@yahoo.com

Oh I have a book coming out and we are planning a book signing at Crimson Laurel sometime when the books actually arrive!

The next Clay Club's are :

September 10, 2014 At David Harlod's Studio in Asheville

October 8, 2014 at Odyssey in Asheville

November ? TBD

December? TBD

Oh I have a book coming out and we are planning a book signing at Crimson Laurel sometime when the books actually arrive!

John, please save one of those books for me when they arrive. Just let me know how much and where to send the check! So looking forward to it!

June : You can get it on Amazon or I can send you one.

Sounds like Amazon would be easier for you. Is it available now? Never mind, I'll check Amazon myself. Think you are going to do very well with this book considering how many more people are firing at this temperature.

I already added it to my wish list, since they say it isn't going to be available until November. If you get some copies to sell earlier, I might just see if you can send me one, otherwise, I'll just order it from Amazon.
