NEEDED STUDIO ASSISTANT in Brevard NC Summer/fall 2015
The Duckpond Pottery is interested to find a studio assistant for the summer/fall of 2015.
This position is especially for those with an adventurous spirit who have an interest in wood firing and working with native clay. Interest in natural building, kayaking, or wood fired hot tubs couldn't hurt either.

A bit about The Duckpond Pottery:
Perched above the French Broad River with a deck surrounded by giant poplar trees, The Duckpond Pottery produces a full range of rustic wood fired pottery made exclusively from the distinctive clay dug within Transylvania's French Broad River valley. Special focus exists on custom architectural work including handcrafted sinks, decorative tile work, and accent lighting fixtures. Through the summer and fall months the pottery also plays host to a twice monthly music series featuring live original music from local and national touring artists.
