Lamp, Vase and Alter Forms Workshop in Chapel Hill May 30-31, 2015

There are still some spots available in the hands-on pottery workshop I'll be teaching at my friend Cely Chicurel's studio in Chapel Hill, NC this coming weekend.

 Lamps, Vases and Altered Forms
A hands-on workshop at Cely’s House Pottery Studio in Chapel Hill, NC May 30-31 9:00 am to 5:00 pm My friend Cely will host a two-day hands-on workshop at her lovely pottery studio in Chapel Hill. I taught a workshop there in March that was great fun for all concerned. 

This time we’re going to focus on lamps, including a lesson on wiring them. We’ll use wiggle wires, sodium silicate, lace and a variety of found objects to vary the surface of newly-thrown lamps and vases. 

Participants should know how to center and pull up a cylinder. 

Come prepared to take work home leather-hard.
