Clay Club is on Wednesday in Burnsville! ***with an update on the “critiques” and how to participate***

Clay Club is tomorrow at High Country Ceramic Arts in Burnsville! Thanks again to Linda Powell for hosting us.

Details:

When: 6-8 pm on Wednesday, February 8

What: We will be having critiques. Linda has lined up three fabulous artists to lead the critiques: Catharine Brown (here, too), Michael Rutkowsky and Yaffa Todd.

It has been suggested that “critique” maybe isn’t quite the right word. This is how they were described the last time we did this: “this is a very informal, unique opportunity for folks to get feedback on their work. This could be finished work as well as work you may be working on but just want some input of ideas from others as how to improve or more forward.” (Check out the recap to see the diversity of work that time.) All ceramic artists (wheel throwers, hand builders, functional potters, sculptors, etc.) of all levels are welcome to participate. This is a terrific opportunity and there is still room. If you'd like to participate, let me know.

We will have the usual potluck, so bring food to share. Clay Club is BYOB, so bring drink, too.

***Asheville area folks: Linda Falcone is hoping to carpool. Contact her at claymaster69@yahoo.com.***
