THE INTUITIVE NATURE IN CLAY

This 5-day workshop will explore the ancient forms of pinching and coiling clay, while addressing the concept of collaboration with the material. It will include demonstrations of ways of hand building with little to no tools, thereby eliminating the added distraction between the artist and the material.

Using low-fired clay, we will address surface finishes with demos and discussions.

All levels welcome.

Though time is limited for drying and firing, I will be happy to fire and ship work following class.
