Spend an evening with Author Marilyn Shannon & North Carolina treasures, the Bringle Sisters, from Penland. Ceramic Artist Cynthia Bringle and Textile Artist Edwina Bringle will share their creations and discuss their 50 years of professional crafting as well as how being twins influences their unique artistic perspectives. Marilyn will share the similarities and differences of their experiences to those of the twins presented in her book, Listening into the Hearts of Twins, from her ‘In Just One Afternoon’ book series.
