High Country Ceramic Arts: current studio opportunities and pottery sale
High Country Ceramic Arts, a community pottery studio in Burnsville, welcomes the public to our first annual sale, this Friday and Saturday, August 7 & 8, from 10am-4pm. The sale will include 10% off everything in the gallery, as well as 10% off beginners and membership packages.
Our gallery features both sculptural ceramic arts and functional pottery created by gallery artists; Linda Powell, John George, Katrina George, John Maddox, Diane McGrath, Cheryl Munyan, Kemberly McKinney, Karen Miller, Melanie Risch, Donna Sol, Martin Stankus, and Yaffa Todd.
Due to COVID-19, we cannot currently schedule classes, but can still offer one-on-one lessons. Masks will be required for all those who enter the gallery and studio space. The beginner's package includes three lessons and one month of membership for $180.
Memberships are $260 for three months and include 24/7 access to the studio and community equipment and the opportunity to sell their work through the gallery.
Our gallery is open to the public Fridays and Saturdays from 10am - 4pm. Community members who are interested in seeing the gallery and studio space are welcome to come and look around. Stop by High Country Ceramic Arts this Friday and Saturday to see locally made pottery and support Burnsville’s craft culture.
For more information about membership, call Linda Powell at 284-5760. Visit the studio at 552 East US Hwy. 19E.
