C&O Canal Bike Ride

Just got back from a great 3 day ride on the C&O Canal which runs from Washington D.C. - Cumberland MD.  It is about 184 miles but does connect with the Great Alleghany Passage  which continues to Pittsburgh.

It was fantastic and well organized by Kevin Martin.  There was about a 30 miles stretch with almost no one on the trail and through a fantastic wildlife reserve.  It was memorable. As was this 3,000 foot tunnel.
