Applications now being accepted for Potters of the Blue Ridge juried show
Potters of the Blue Ridge is pleased to announce it's upcoming juried show, "Blue Ridge Plates and Platters." This show will be featured in the center of Doe Ridge Pottery in Boone, NC, from August 5th through August 14th, 2016.

ELIGIBILITY - Any artist/potter living and working in the NC mountain counties of Ashe, Allegany, Avery, Burke, Caldwell, Watauga and Wilkes is eligible to enter Blue Ridge Plates and Platters. All work must be made primarily of clay and must have been completed within the last two years.
JURYING - Artist/potters may enter up to 5 pieces. Entered work will be juried by a panel of Potters of the Blue Ridge members. PBR members may submit actual work for jurying - all others must submit high resolution (at least 300 dpi) digital images in jpg form. There is a limit of one image per piece entered.
DIGITAL IMAGES - Digital images must be submitted in an email having the subject heading Blue Ridge Plates and Platters. All images must be at least 300dpi and no bigger than 8 inches on the longest side. Each image must be submitted as a separate attachment and not collectively in one file (no Power Points). Each image file must be labeled with the artist/potter's name and corresponding entry number. All images of accepted work will be retained for advertising purposes until after the exhibit. Any work that differs appreciably from the image submitted will be rejected at the jurors' discretion. All entries must be received no later than May 13th, 2016.
Clay Club meets at artist studios and other locations throughout Western North Carolina, usually on the second Wednesday of the month. All potters and ceramic artists are welcome! Look for details about the meetings here on the blog or contact Amy Waller at email@example.com for more info.
